I'm running 0.5.0rc3 on Mac OS X Server, with a gigabit ethernet and 200Mbit cable internet connection.
For some reason I cannot get past the 10MB/s barrier. I've verified that this is not due to network configuration, as the gigabit link is indeed active, and running Unison (with same news server, similar amount of connections) on the same box results in saturating the entire 200Mbit cable.
Is there some hard coded limit in the code? I know there is a setting for limiting download speed, but I'm not using it.
0.5.0rc3 - max download speed limited to 10MB/s?

Re: 0.5.0rc3 - max download speed limited to 10MB/s?
It's likely the top speed SABnzbd can reach on your system.
A slower one would give you less speed.
Being written in an interpreted language, SABnzbd is no speed king.
We will be looking at performance for later releases.
We are now concentrating on improving reliability.
