    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
    Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

    Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Sort String Issue

Bug Report (consistent/reproducible):
Using SABnzbd+ 0.5.0RC3

Config > Sorting > Series Sorting > Enable > Sort String:

Try this setting: %sn (%0sx%0e) %en.%ext

The example will read correct:
Example: /home/xbmc/media1torrent/TV/Show Name (01x05) Episode Name.avi

The actual file will be named:
Example: /home/xbmc/media1torrent/TV/Show Name (01x05.avi

(notice the missing right-PARENTHESES).
