SABnzbd v0.5, XP SP3 » Repair failed, not enough repair blocks (1 short)

Post by looseruser »

It seems that SABnzbd has a wrong check.
It says that it cannot repair because it's one block short.
Quickpar (using the identical files) says it can repair it.
See screenshots.

Thanks for fixing.

Cannot see it on your blurred image, but the most likely cause is that
the poster did not use consistent names.
Contrary to QuickPar (which gobbles up any par2 file), SABnzbd only
uses par2 files that are consistently names according to the set to be verified.

There are good reasons why we do this, but it goes to far to explain this here.

The file names are in fact consistent.
I leave judging the results to you - I assume a bug when I see two different outputs from the same data.

Not necessarily with SABnzbd.
par2 and QuickPar are two entirely different programs, and neither is written by us.
Actually QuickPar is better, but cannot be used in an automated system.
Can you send the NZB to bugs at sabnzbd.org ?
