It looks like you are running some slightly out of date code.  There have been quite a few updates released on the dev branch since the code base you are running, including a fix for the problem you are seeing.  Update to the latest code and try again.

Fixed, there was a typo in a logging statement I added a while back that only gets triggered when a specific error is encountered.
Thanks !

Seems to work now but nzbs.org is back online so will see if this works.

As a side note , i think its safe to say Newzbin is dead and we're down to nzbs.org and nzbmatrix. Anybody know any other TV nzb site ?

It does have RSS feeds and they work fine with mediarover. I needed to set provider as mytvnzb.

Thats great. Just tried it and it seems to work as advertised.

What do you think about making it official , kierse ? Sources need updating.

mytvnzb = dead (* but source could be just simply renamed to nzbsRus since it seems to work just fine )
tvnzb = dead
newzbin = dead

only OFFICIAL MR sources left are nzbs.org and nzbmatrix. ( And nzbmatrix' RSS feeds are down more often than they're up , i dont know what the heck they're doing on their site. )

www.nzbindex.nl also has a working rss feed. Build the feed from there their website and then add &nzblink=1 to the URL. Again set provider as mytvnzb.

There seems to be a problem when using .ignore file. I have set it but eps are getting downloaded anyway.

Here are the relevant parts of the log file.

If I add * to the .ignore file the whole series is skipped but I want to use .ignore to skip individual seasons.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

My ignore files are working correctly

Content of my .ignore file is simple

Code: Select all

Season 1
Season 2
Season 3
This .ignore file ignores 3 Seasons of given show.

My ignore file must be set up OK as the logs indicate it will ignore season 1. It then downloads two episodes from season 1.

you have coma and other stuff in there

Code: Select all

['season 1', '']
Or maybe you need to use capital S as in Season 1 instead of season 1

Aslo file needs to be placed in root folder of the show you want to ignore. ( NOT in Season folders )

Thanks for the reply.

There is no comma in file, I've tried season and Season, the docs indicate the season is ignored in any case and only the numerical value read. File is in series root.

Hey guys, been a while since I've been in this thread :D

I upgraded MR after Newzbin closed and I noticed that my episodes weren't being named correctly.

The new .conf wanted me to use

Code: Select all

single_episode = '$(series)s - $(SEASON_EPISODE_1)s$(smart_title)s'
but I found i had to use this variable instead, taken from my old .conf file.

Code: Select all

series_episode = '$(series)s - $(SEASON_EPISODE_1)s$(smart_title)s'
Also, I don't want to drag this offtopic, but those wondering about a new nzb site might be interested that UsenetShack has confirmed Newzbins source code / databases were indeed stolen, and on the deepsharer blog he believes he's contacted the individual that did it.

Hey rollingeyeball, good to have you back!  Are you running the latest code from the dev branch?  Also, did you replace the MR application directory when you upgraded or did you just unpack it over top of the existing one?
