Upgraded to Windows 7 > Auto TV Sorting Not Working

Post by mediajunkie »

Hello All,

This past weekend I upgraded my HTPC from Vista to Windows 7.

So far it seems like everything is working, except for the "Auto TV Sorting".

I just downloaded an episode of Criminal Minds from NZBmatrix by downloading the NZB into the folder I monitor.

I expected it to extract and place the file in: D:\Television\Criminal Minds\Season 5\Show Name - S01E05 - Episode Name.mkv.

But, instead, it just left it in my completed downloads folder.

Under "Config > Sorting", I have the following:
Enable TV Sorting = Checked
Affected Categories: TV
Sort String: D:/Television/%sn/Season %s/%sn - S%0sE%0e - %en.%ext

I'm sure I had these same settings before I formatted, but I must be doing something differently that I am missing.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have sorting working using Windows 7 and downloading via the RSS feed of NZBmatrix?

When I was running Vista this worked perfectly and was one of my favorite features (so I didn't have to constantly cut/paste from the downloads folder to the proper folder), but now I can't get it to work at all.

I am running the latest version of SabNZB.

Any insight is GREATLY (and I mean GREATLY  ;D ) appreciated.

Thanks!

It works on Windows 7.

How do you associate your NZBs with the TV category?

Thanks for the reply shypike.

I was sure it had to be working on Windows 7, so I must be doing something wrong. Although, I honestly have no idea what.

On the Config > Sorting screen I have the following:

Enable TV Sorting: (checked)
Category List: "tv" is selected
Sort String: D:/Television/%sn/Season %s/%sn - S%0sE%0e - %en.%ext

On the Config > RSS screen I have the following:

http://services.nzbmatrix.com/rss.php?cat=tv
(Here is one example row)
Accept  - Big Brother US S12 - Default - Default

I'm pretty sure this is the same way I had it setup when I was running Vista...

Hopefully something jumps out at you and you can highlight my stupid mistake.  ;)
I'd love to get this working again.

Thanks in advance!

"tv" is not a category in nzbmatrix, at least not as an attribute.
In the TV category line (Config->Categories) you need to add TV* in
the newzbin/Group column.

Thanks for the instructions shypike.

I went to the config > categories page and putt "TV*" in the NewzBin/Groups column in the row for the category "TV".

Hopefully this does the trick.

If it doesn't work, I'll update this thread since I'm sure other people are in the same boat as me.

Cheers!
