I'm wondering why Couchpotato won't find 'Legend.of.the.Guardians.720p.Bluray.x264-CBGB' (720p/1080p, doesn't matter which one I choose in CP), which is on nzbs.org for a couple of hours now.

Is there a way to manually add/link it? I love the automatic postprocessing, So I don't really want to add it to sabnzb without the use of sabnzb...plus, it should just find it right?

I downloaded this movie today/yesterday (??) using CP 19b2a77. You can however manually add it to sab. Movies inside the "movie temp dir" are processed by CP anyhow afaik.

Greasemonkey Userscript Issue

Post by clambert »

I have the Greasemonkey Userscript working fine with IMDB but I can't seem to get it to work properly with other sites when I add them to the list.  Is it even possible?  Right now I am trying to get it to work with movies.com.

Can it work with other sites?  What am I missing?

It would be cool to see it working with Movies.com, metacritic, Rotten Tomatoes, Netflix, etc.

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.  :)

I'm pretty sure it ONLY works with IMDB regardless of whether you add other sites in greasemonkey

it would be nice if CP was able to run thumbgen after a download finishes.
thumbgen sometimes picks the wrong movie after CP renaming.

Hehe. If you want to request something, the best place is GitHub. Make a ticket there :D

Will there be support for python 2.5 as I understand this is now only 2.6+?

No there will not. 2.5 is from 2006 ;) and thus very very old.

I assume you can run 2.6 next to 2.5 in centos.
Then start CP with something like "python2.6 CouchPotato.py".

I installed it today and I really like the concept. I had one question. I have set up renaming in the settings part. But it looks like it is not working. I downoaded a few films and all remain in the downloaded folder without renaming. Is there a specific time that cp will rename all movies or should this be timed on regular basis?

Also should the file automaticly go from snatched to downloaded or is this a manual action?

Apologies if I've missed it anywhere, but how does CouchPotato handle propers?  Does it automatically check for propers at a certain interval, or does it...not :)    I've added the word PROPER as one of my 'preferred keywords', so if I'm grabbing an old movie I assume it'll go for the Proper first (although perhaps this is already built into the logic, I'm not sure.

Thanks :)

Does anyone know if I can use the post processing element of this program to post process movies downloaded by Sab?

I do not really need to use the programs main functionality, but it'd be cool to use this just to rename / sort / categorise films I download...

Much like SickBeard can be used to post process TV shows...
