Cant get SABnzbd to start

Support for the Debian/Ubuntu package, created by JCFP.

Help us help you:
  • Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.
  • Tell us what system you run SABnzbd on.

  • Do you experience problems during downloading?
    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
    Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
    We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.
  • Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
    Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Cant get SABnzbd to start

Hi.

When I try to start sabnzbd i get the error message:
Welcome to sabnzbdplus 0.5.6



    SABnzbd cannot find its web interface files in /usr/share/sabnzbdplus/interfaces/smpl.
    Please install the program again.


Program did not start!
But when I go to the directory where I have sabnzbd installed, I can start it with "sabnzbdplus" and everything works perfectly.

I tried to reinstall but it doesn't seem to help...

Are you mixing a source install with a package install?

I'm bit of a newbie in linux so it I took i new full install..

Guess I learn a bit more everytime  ;)
