Do Unpacked Files Have To Be In Separate Folders?

Post by daishan »

I'm 99% setup with SAB except for one issue. All of my TV is unpacking in separate folders.

So I get this:

D:\TV\Fringe S01E01\Fringe S01E01.mkv
D:\TV\Fringe S01E02\Fringe S01E02.mkv

When I want both files to just unpack here:

D:\TV

Going through all of these sub-folders is highly annoying. Did I miss a setting? Do I need to make a script? (if so, how? Is there a script tutorial?)

Thanks for any help you can give, it's very much appreciated!

Having the exact same issue. Got everything setup, including SABMobile. Seems like it could be a script that we need to run. Appreciate if someone could help us.

What is your Sorting string?
Mine is:
%sn/Season %s

This does put all MKV files of one season in "show name\season x".

That helps with getting the names just right for scraping on TheTVDB.com using XBMC, but the PC I download from is not the one I use to watch from. I use my office PC as it's more convenient, and then copy over the shows to the living room PC.

I don't do it directly because I'm not watching TV all the time so that PC is off when I'm not using it.

Ok, just downloaded some new TV using the sorting strings for renaming, and now all of the files are in the one destination location I want. Wasn't expecting that, so while it's not 100%, it's extremely easy to organize by file extension and delete the chafe so I'm left with just my shows. Sweet!! :)

Thanks for the reply!
