Sorting issue since upgrading to 0.6.2

Post by unisonruss »

Hi all, ever since my upgrade to 0.6.2, movie sorting no longer works. I had it set up to rename my movies to look like this: "Movie Name (Year).avi" It worked great in the last version I was using, but now it unpacks the movie (still to the correct folder), but does not rename it like it should. I looked under config --> Sorting and it appears my settings have not changed: sorting is still enabled, the proper categories are selected, and the sort string look good. It is reproducible, as the last six movies I've tried have not been renamed.

I would really appreciate any help on this matter! I'm running on Mac OS X Snow Leopard, using osx.app, not using IPV6.

Thank you,

-Russ

Nice to know, but since I'm not psychic I would like to know what it actually is.

Thanks again, I hope to get this resolved!

You also didn't give any examples of titles that go wrong.
The first quick test that I did, worked fine.
So the issue must be more specific.

That's interesting, because prior to the update, every movie was renamed without a problem. Now, none are. I have already renamed the movies manually, so I have no example titles, but when I grab a new one, I'll post it as an example. Do my settings look correct from the screen I posted above?

EDIT: I looked up the last title that did not rename.

Code: Select all

The Adjustment Bureau 2011 720p BRRip AC3 x264 MacGuffin
After the download finished, it extracted and moved the file to the proper folder, but the name remained The Adjustment Bureau 2011 720p BRRip AC3 x264 MacGuffin.mkv

When I download the same job, the MKV is renamed correctly.
The post does contain quite some extra junk that is handled differently.

But if the mkv renamed correctly on your end, that means something is wrong on my end, any idea what that could be?

Do you have underscores instead of spaces or dots in the names?
There's a bug that prevents the year being recognized when underscores are used.

No I'm not using underscores at all.
