[0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
beware....any files with the "rar" extension located in the watched folder gets deleted with this new version
Re: [0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
Only rar files with nzb files on it should be deleted...
I've checked with a rar file not containing nzb and it's not deleted.

Re: [0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
Only RAR files with nothing more in it than NZB and NFO files are processed.
Any RAR file that contains anything else is completely ignored.
The same feature already existed for ZIP files.

Re: [0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
Well on my setup, thoses rars were data files without any nzb files in it, maybe some had a .nfo files in it and many of them were even password protected, running the sab-console i could see them go to oblivion. The zips with the same content were left untouched. Back to 0.4.2 with the same ini file and everything is fine. Just wanted to let you know.
I'm running on vista, sabnzbd+ sidebar gadget enabled, watched folder is not on drive c, avira antivir running in the background, .nfo and .sfv set in the cleanup list, plush interface

Re: [0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
It can always be that you found a problem, I'll check anyway.
That 0.4.2 behaves differently is no surprise, it does not support rar files.
Please email the logging files to bugs at sabnzbd.org, this could help in diagnosing the problem.

Re: [0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
I cannot reproduce your problem. My rar files are untouched.
(Tried Vista and Linux).
All the logging says is "Trying to import , once.
Have you tried without the "sabnzbd+ sidebar gadget" ?

Re: [0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
Hope this help to pinpoint the problem.
Turning off the sabnzbd+ sidebar gadget did nothing
Turning off the plush interface did nothing
Turning off all post-processing options did noting
Write-protecting the test rar file with vista users file access credentials gave the following error:
2008-08-30 11:46:56,595 ERROR [sabnzbd.misc] Error removing f:\dl\@watch\test-file.rar
next thing i'll have to try is to do a clean and freh install with a virgin sabnzb.ini file

Re: [0.4.3] some watched folder files gets deleted
That will not likely solve the problem.
Please email an example .rar file you have that is being picked up by sabnzbd that shouldn't be to [email protected] along with your sabnzbd.log
