files don't want to move into category folders

Post by vinister »

I started getting this issue after upgrading to V7B5.

Here are my category settings

and here is an example download that did not get moved:

We can see it has the category set "movies", but then the path is still D:\COMPLETE\, instead of D:\COMPLETE\MOVIES\

This all worked properly in the past, I haven't changed anything other than upgrading from V6 to V7.

This is an issue because my couchpotato watch dir is the /movies/ subdirectory. Since there is nothing in there, there is nothing for it to process, and so my files just sit on the temporary drive, and it fills up, pausing sabnzbd.

What's the asterisk (*) doing at the end of the category name?
"movies*" is not "movies".

it is to catch the different naming schemes - "movies-x264" "movies-divx" etc. Is it not supposed to be there?

The downloads seem to be marked as the right category, while they are downloading, in the category box, it says "movies"

I'll try without it!

You're mixing up colums.
The first column is your own category name.
The "Groups / Indexer tags" column contains the indexer's category names, so that's where you should put "movies*".
So: first column "movies", other column "movies*"
