error on starrting sabnzbd

Support for the Debian/Ubuntu package, created by JCFP.

error on starrting sabnzbd

Any ideas what the problem could be?
This is on Ubuntu 12.04

Is it OK to remove this post, as in your post https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.ph ... 254#p70254 your a few steps further.

Well, I got further because I started it by typing sabnzbdplus
but when I use sudo service sabnzbdplus start, I get the above error.

This error has been reported before, looks ugly but seems harmless. See my comment in this thread.

The only issue is that when I use sudo, I can't actually access it through the webserver loclahost:8080 so it is actually not starting at all.

any ideas on how I can troubleshoot it as it also prevents sabnzbd from starting up with the computer.

Tell a bit more about your system: bit-ness, GUI or no GUI installed and activated, login method, etc , ...

Reason: I've Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit, both Desktop and Server (so without GUI stuff), and starting the sabnzbdplus service normal:

sander@toverdoos:~$ sudo service sabnzbdplus start
 * Starting SABnzbd+ binary newsgrabber                                                                                           [ OK ] 
sander@toverdoos:~$
So ... find out what the difference is ...
