[Wishlist] Redownload bad nzb files X number of times

Hi,

I have a problem with tvnzb.com, sometimes the nzb files doesn't download correctly and SABnzbd obviously complain about the fact that the files is not valid and then I loose my download forever and I have to check back and manually download the said file... That would be nice if we could setup a number of retry, then if I say retry to re download failed nzb 5 times and I fetch rss every 15 minutes that would give the site 75 minutes to come back online or correct what's wrong with the file, it's maybe only the server being overloaded with requests that causes my problem.

I have to say this morning I was missing 4 show and I was able to copy paste the URL in sabnzbd and it worked flawlessly with the exact same nzb id that previously failed.

You said not a good idea, but I take it you made a mistake and meant "not a bad idea" or "a good idea", only the two different formulation got mixed up while typing, that happend all the time.

Thanks anyways for considering my request, I understand it's not a urgent matter though.

I repeat, having a programmable number is NOT a good idea.
We have too many crazy options already.

It will need to go into the general URL-grabber functiom, which already does retries
when sites are not responsive.
Normally a bad NZB is rejected and never retried.
Why should it?

This morning I got 3 bad nzb files, I don't know why it does this, but then I copy and paste the url manually into sabnzbd and it download just fine...

Maybe the site get overloaded at night because of all the news episodes that come around that time and the server start to trash bad file.

I just say that if the nzb downloaded is bad, that could be a download problem a server problem an Internet problem, and I would like it to be retried if that's the case, I understand that sometimes the file is really bad, but today again 3 times with bad file, that end up being downloaded just fine in the morning...

So the problem is that the file was being downloaded, so no retry as your criteria since the hosts did send something, but the file was damaged somehow.

tvbinz.net won't work until we release 0.4.5.
It has a it of a peculiar way of sending the NZB files, requiring a change in SABnzbd.

That was too good to be true ... A fully automatic NZB source rss site ... TVNZB is great, but still it require human intervention to get the NZB on the site ... and TVBINZ is fully automated ...

Thanks for the warning though ... I can't wait to get my hand on the next release!
