hi all,
as stated in the title, I have a 50mb d/l speed (upgraded from 20mb) from this ISP in Taiwan but am not experiencing any faster d/l speed from sab.
Sab was running at 2.4mb/sec prior to my upgrade and now stays the same. I tried changing the connection from 20 to 40 (max) and worked back down and still wouldn't change a thing. My friend who's also using sabnzbd back in the US has his thing running at 6.X MB/sec which shocks me....
I have 8 gigs of ram, win 7 system.
If anyone can point out some directions to solve this issue, that'd be great. really appreciate your time and help.

First of all: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc30 . So SAB reports 2.4 MB/s (not the capital B, meaning byte), which is 24 Mbps.
Furthermore:
are you using a wire? (Needed for optimal speed)
what does http://speedtest.net/ report when SAB is not running?
what 'plan' / maximum speed have you bought from your newsserver provider?

Re: 50M download speed ISP but slow download for sab
hi,
on the laptop no, I'm trying to set it up again on my wired desktop but having a hard time about it.
speedtest.net report says d/l is 50MBish and upload is 10MBish when SAB isn't running.
I'm not sure because my friend basically set up the whole thing for me and I couldn't reach him now
