Any help?

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
Maybe a local permission issue looking at the cache file?
"Access is denied: '.AuthorCache'"
I saw a heap of entries for James Patterson, no issues with the search.
Added some new books last night fine also.

Hi
I have given access to everyone but still no joy. Shutdown and restarted but still same error.
I am using Windows 8, how about you?

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
It has been tested as working on Ubuntu, windows 7 and Mac OS X. As far as I am aware no one has tried on windows 8 until now.
Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
I just tried to setup LL, and got it to finally search for books, but having issues connecting to SAB, I could be doing something wrong....
2013-01-11 21:00:09 ERROR Failed to download nzb @ http://nzb.su.
2013-01-11 21:00:08 ERROR Unable to connect to SAB with URL: http://0.0.0.0:9089/api?nzbname=Bret+Ea ... rname=XXXX
Not sure exactly. Have no issues w/ SB or CP or HP at the moment.
I usaally have SAB setup as HTTPS://localhost:9095
But I tried the HTTP side @ 9089 also to see if that would work.
I verified the API for SAB also, and double checked it was in the ini.
Also if its been snatched, but not sent to SAB how can you re-snatch or re-send?
***Fixed** not sure what exactly
Next issue is I accidently deleted the GoodReads API.

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
Hi Mike
I started using LL early on and it worked quite reliably using Windows 8 for several weeks. It started to give me problems about 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas and has done since. I guess I will have to downgrade to Windows 7. I have just set it up on XUbuntu and it worked fine if a little slowly, but I prefer Windows so it looks like 7 for me. Thanks for your hard work so far.

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
I'm having trouble looking for books with the latest version, if i search for C S Lewis as an example from my private NewzNab:
In the logs it shows connection string as
This responds back finding nothing.
If i change the search string to
I find plenty of results
In the logs it shows connection string as
Code: Select all

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
Is it just me or is https://github.com/LibrarianMike/LazyLibrarian dead? I get a 404 when I try and access it (I want to re-clone the repo)...

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
Did you remember the .git at the end??
Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
I haven't actually tried cloning it as the repo (at the link above at least) doesn't seem to existal1937 wrote:Did you remember the .git at the end??
