PAR2/Unpack process after system crash

Post by Flambard »

Version: 0.4.5
OS: Windows Seerver 2003 (WHS)
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Default
Firewall Software: N/A
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? I'd rather not try!

I had an issue with the shadow copy service crashing on my WHS machine, which stopped the PAR2/Unpack mid-copy. SABnzbd continued to download in the background, & I didn't notice a lot of downloads had not been unpacked & were sitting in the temp download folder waiting to be processed.

Having restarted my system, my download queue and history had all been wiped. As a result of this, I now have around 150Gb of downloads in my temp download folder which have not been processed. Is there any way to make SABnzbd process these folders and unpack to the correct locations etc as it would have done had they still been in the queue?

I really want to avoid having to do them all monually!!  ???

Thanks...

Since all bookkeeping of SABnzbd is lost, you're out of luck.

Maybe you can write a simple script to post-process it all.
Mostly it's just running par2 and unrar.

Thanks for the pointer. I'll take a look at it when I get home tonight.
