I'm a newbie SABnzbd user, having just installed it on my new QNAP TS-209 II via their QPKG system. I've been manually downloading stuff from Giganews via Newzbin reports for some time and the promise of having my TS-209 sit and download everything for me without my intervention would be like a dream come true!
I've put all my Newzbin saved searches into SABnzbd as RSS feeds (around 45 of them), but this has resulted in a queue of a couple of hundred items (400G!), many of which I've already downloaded. So I need to delete a lot of items from the queue, but the Queue page in the web UI seems to allow me to delete only one item at a time.
Is there a way to delete multiple items from the queue in a single operation?
This is especially problematic because SABnzbd seems to really use a *lot* of CPU when using the web interface, to the point that deleting one item from the queue takes about 3 minutes.
Can anybody help me?
TIA!

Re: How to remove multiple items from queue?
On systems with low resources, do not create a queue of hundreds of jobs.
This requires too much memory and is quite a load on the small CPU.
Which skin do you use?
The "Default" is simple and very compatible, but not very efficient.
Try "smpl' instead and set the queue refresh rate low.
Deleting multiple jobs is not possible in current releases.

Re: How to remove multiple items from queue?
Thanks very much for the reply: I've purged the queue and all is now well.
How do I make sure that SABnzbd only tries to download new items that arrive in the RSS feeds produced by my saved searches from today, rather than wanting to go back and download all the previous matches?

When you add a new feed definition, SABnzbd will ignore the
batch of NZB-s it gets in the very first scheduled scan of that feed.
Only matching NZB-s in the subsequent scans will be downloaded.
