What happens if you back to 0.6.15?
(All versions from 0.6.15 to 0.7.5 are interchangeable as far as data is concerned).

After a repair of the queque it seems to be ok for a short while.
I have noticed that after a download has finished and the file is unpacked, the downloads tend to stay down.
I have downgraded to 0.6.15 and will let you know the result!

The downgrade to 0.6.15 does not solve the issue for me.
Again, repairing the queue solves the issue for me. After a restart downloads are paused. When I unpause them, the resume with full speed!

Is that the "repair" button on the Status page?

Yes, thats the one!
Just added a movie... starts downloading ok.. then after a while back to low speed.
Then I do repair and sabnzbd restarts with queue paused.
I unpause an download resumes again with a steady 6 to 7 MBps ( for a short while ).

Do you see the memory usage increasing?
Which Usenet provider?

I do not see much memory increase, but I will need to analyse that a bit further.
Usenet providers are
free.tweaknews.nl, news.readfreenews.net, newszilla6.xs4all.nl, reader.ipv6.xsnews, reader.xsusenet.com, weathergirl-ipv6.tele2.nl

The free servers are all troublesome; did you set them as "optional" in Config->Servers?
You should, otherwise they will drag the queue when they go off-line.

I have disabled all the free servers.
Tried every IPV6 server separate or with backup/optional setting. It just keeps on happening.
The only thing I havent tried is resetting a switch in my LAN. Cause this W7 Computer is connected to the router via a Switch. Will try that when I get home!!
( download speed goes down to -- = 0 )

We've discovered some problems in the way SABnzbd treats servers that
have a mix of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
That could be a (partial?) cause of your problems.
We're working on a solution that will land in the first Beta of 0.7.6

Has this changed since the last few releases?
4 weeks ago I did not have any problems!

Not sure, but should your Usenet provider have added IPv6 addresses, you may be screwed.
There may be more factors at work, not sure yet.

Did a clean install of sabnzbd 0.7.5 and then updated to 0.7.6Beta1
Things seem to be ok now. Still testing with downloading large file to see if speed stays up!
I did do a manual rebuild of my ini file.
By copying the data from the file into the webbrowser setup.
Maybe there is a setting in the ini file that is supposed to be no longer used, but actually is of influance?

I downloaded a somewhat older movie today and noticed the same behaviour again, except now I see the log full of article ##@eu.news.astraweb.com is missing error 430, which seems to be pointing to articles being removed! Maybe this is the source of all problems?
