Hi,
I got a problem lately with rar in rar, i am using the latest version of sab 0.7.11 but when ever i download a password protected file I am warned only when everything has been downloaded that it can't extract it. Even with the option pause when encrypt file detected is on. How can I avoid having password protected file being download anyway ?
I think this problem is pretty similar to what DasFox had but this discussion is quite old.

I am on Mac os Lion and I have "Action when encrypted RAR is downloaded" selected to paused but I can't place a tick in front of it I guess it is preactivated.
Can you tell me what I am doing wrong for this option to warn me only at the end ?
Is that normal ?

Thank you,
Best regards
David

SABnzbd cannot see through all tricks used.
The next release will show some improvements though.

That would take too long and is a bit too complicated, because it requires running unrar itself.
You should add the password to the job title, as explained here:
http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/password-protected-rars "Password per NZB".
