Does the problem occur after a pause (or empty queue)?
How is the setting in Config->Switches of "Disconnect on empty queue".

it happens while it's downloading...the speed would gradually drop until it reaches 0KB/s

And I've always got something in my queue.....it's never empty.

I have now unticked the 'Disconnect on empty queue' cos I have used the paused function on numerous occasion...

I will monitor and keep you posted...

"Pause" is influenced by the same setting.
So that may explain things.
Servers react very differently to broken connections.
They are usually very slow in recognizing blunt disconnects (for valid performance reasons).
However, SABnzbd always sends the official "quit" command before disconnecting.
