A TV ep I just downloaded did not get added but it also doesn't get added when I do a manual library update.. I have no idea why as it's got an nfo and it's naming scheme is fine.. Ever see this?

Thanks
Not sure man, sounds like the web server is working, you may want to do some posts in the xbmc forums.

Some more troubleshooting...

Over night sab downloaded two TV shows.. The script says it ran but again, no library updates show..

So this morning, I opened my browser and pasted the link you gave me while I had XBMC open on another PC.. Sure enough, when I pasted the link the library updated and the shows were indeed there...

The script doesn't appear to be updating the library.. It definitely works when I run it manually though.. Any ideas?

Thanks man.

Hey tbird,

Can you post your settings file and your categories file for me.

Settings file:
## Media Process v1.3 settings

SABNZBD Download Path = "F:\DLOADS"
Failed Downloads Destination Path = "F:DLOADS\_Failed"
XBMC IP address and port = "172.16.195.3:2340"
Show Tray Tip Messages (y/n) = "y"
Categories File:
Category Name = "Movies"
Destination Path = "G:\DVDS\PRIVATE"
Minimum File Size = "200"
Use thetvdb.com scraper (y/n) = "n"
Update XBMC Library (y/n) = "y"

Category Name = "Music"
Destination Path = "R:\MUSIC\unsorted"
Minimum File Size = "1"
Use thetvdb.com scraper (y/n) = "n"
Update XBMC Library (y/n) = "n"

Category Name = "Video_Misc"
Destination Path = "F:\DLOADS\videos\other"
Minimum File Size = "20"
Use thetvdb.com scraper (y/n) = "n"
Update XBMC Library (y/n) = "n"

Category Name = "TV"
Destination Path = "F:\DLOADS\TV"
Minimum File Size = "75"
Use thetvdb.com scraper (y/n) = "y"
Update XBMC Library (y/n) = "y"
And this worked before I upgraded to a newer version of XBMC.

Thanks!

Interesting IP scheme... XBMC IP address and port = "172.16.195.3:2340"

Ok so when you manually access the url for updating the library you use this IP address and port and it works ok? Also the xbmc web  server doesn't have authentication enabled right? Can you post the entire URL here that you are using to manually trigger an update?

Tell me about your xbmc setup. Windows? Mac? Linux? what version OS and what version of XBMC? I think you mentioned that you are using an SVN build right? Is it an official xbmc build or is it something else?

Thanks for pointing that out... I don't even remember putting that 2340 there!? WTH?

I KNOW for a FACT it worked before I upgraded and I also don't remember changing my XBMC port to 2340 so that is really strange..

Ok, so I changed it to port 80 in the config file to match up w/ XBMC.. Downloaded an ep of the simpsons which I do not have any of.. It must have ran the script because it added the series, however, it didn't add the episode..  ???

Hmm, well it seems fixing the port in the settings file fixed the xbmc URL update request from the script. I have had that happen a few times as well though, where a series gets added but no episodes. I'm not sure what that is all about.

Grtz,

Right now I don't have anything being done to the actual content. It is more to get the content cleaned up, moved and to help xbmc work with it a little bit. I would eventually like to incorporate some of these kinds of things but I am not currently tackling it.
