HI All.

Been very happy with my setup a DS209 running SABnzbd. But all of a sudden I can't connect to SABnzbd on the regular IP???

Anyone who know what to check for? It is my fist server so I need the "ABC" explanation.....

Did your router give out a new IP address for your server?
Doesn't SABnzbd start up on your DS or can't the web browser find the DS?
What is SABnzbd's host address in Config->General?

SABnzbd is running on my DS including python, base and compression. -It is in the browser window it wont connect...

My server is on the same IP.

Config > General ? Where can I see these settings?? Only got "SABnzbd help" in my DSM.

Can you still connect to your Synology? If so, what's the IP address? FYI: if it is an address 192.168 or 10. you can post it here; it's a private address, with no value / meaning on Internet.

What's the URL you're using in your webbrowser trying to connect to the SAB webinterface?

The first URL works, and the second doesn't?

If so, there are a few possibilities:
- SAB is not running at all
- SAB is running on a different port (so not 9200, but something else)
- SAB is only listening locally, which is not so useful on a 'remote' NAS

Can you find a file name sabnzbd.ini on your synology? Maybe it is in /usr/local/var/sabnzbd/config.ini or /usr/local/sabnzbd/var/config.ini or ... ? If not, find it ...
If found, open it with a text editor (do not edit / change it), and find the first occurence of 'host' and 'port' (not https_port), and post those two lines here.

can't find that file.... I have also used the search function on my NAS without any succes..

Pity. Are you ready and able to do some hardcore stuff, meaning logging in into your Synology using SSH (or telnet)? If so, see http://forum.synology.com/wiki/index.ph ... _Interface Can you login?

BTW: which SABnzbd package are you using for your Synology? I believe there are different packages / pacakagers.

Could be. Depends on where the problem is. So worth a try.

Okay - but now I don't know how to uninstall it?.... :-/
