SABnzbd Forums

OK, so I am trying to get SabNZBd set up to run with sickbeard. So far, everything seems to work pretty well except the last step, actually downloading anything.
If I add a show to sickbeard, then mark an episode as wanted, I will get a notification that sickbeard has snatched said file. Then it passes that along to SabNZBd. The file never downloads though. I just get something in the queue that says "trying to grab NZB" or something similar, which disappears rather quickly with no error and the file doesn't download.
Do I have a setting wrong? Can I see a log of what happened? This is confusing.

OK. I was able to get a nzb to go through to the queue (almost all still wont), but now it just says downloading, but never downloads anything. Help

First things first: get one NZB from http://binsearch.info/?q=bigrandomfile& ... 00&server= , put it into NZB, and check if it is downloading.

Not a problem. I understand how this works. I am almost positive the problem is not with sickbeard, but with sabnzbd (or with me to be more precise, I'm betting) .
I was able to download "random big file" that you linked me to, so that could be good or bad news.

So:
1) SABnzbd setup works. Good
2) combination with Sickbeard doesn't. Pity.

As said: I can't help you sickbeard as I don't know it.

I am still pretty new to Usenet. Good to know I at least have sabnzbd set up right. It doesn't really seem possible that all the files I'm passing on to sabnzbd are no good. Trying over at the sickbeard forums now.
Thanks for taking it easy on a noobie like me.

Also, I found that my error log (or warnings, whatever) was full of the exact same error. Incomplete NZB files seems to be the problem. From sabnzbd's point of view, is there something I can learn from that? I know it's not an issue with sabnzbd itself, but it would maybe give me more info on what needs to be fixed.
