The queue & missing articles

Hi all, clicking on a job shows the current queue and whats downloading and whats next. Is there a way to show the whole job, so what parts have been downloaded and more importantly, what articles are missing?

For say a 6GB file, what kind of number of missing articles would be an issue?

There's no full overview.
SABnzbd is supposed to do its work as silently as possible
so we kept the user interface limited.

How much articles can be missed depends on how many par2 files the poster uploaded.
Usually people post between 5% and 10% par2 files, allowing missing of 4% to 9% of all articles.

OK, thanks! I think I'm a bit confused about Articles then. If lets say, 40 are missing, thats not individual files is it. Thats parts of files?

Articles are parts of files.
Unfortunately there's no one-to-one correspondence between articles and what par2 calls "blocks".
Usually both have different sizes.

One other quick thing - if the check before download feature is enabled, does it check the whole release, even if early on its likely the job will fail?

Nope, that check too gives up once it's clear the job cannot complete even if all remaining articles would be 100% ok.
