SABnzbd Forums

Hello all,

I have been using SABnzbd+ for some time now and it used to run like a charm, but since today the thing is giving me a headache. When I start the program it runs for about 30 seconds, I can connect to it via Firefox 3.0.5.

I first ran SABnzbd+ 0.4.3 and now I have updated to 0.4.6, but to no avail. I have standard win XP firewall but am behind an IP-cop firewall PC.

SABnzbd+ keeps giving me this message when it crashes:

Welcome to SABnzbd.exe 0.4.6



    SABnzbd is not compatible with some software firewalls.


    Sorry, but we cannot solve this incompatibility right now.
    Please file a complaint at your firewall supplier.


Program did not start!

The odd thing is that the program DID start and downlloaded for about 30 seconds and afetr that it crashed, yes it's gone from taskmanager.

Can you guys help me with this problem?

It worked perfectly before and I have changed nothing in this computer other then your normal windows upgrades.

PS. I also tried disabling windows firewall, but it had the same result.

Something (be it firewall or antivirus) is stopping our webserver from working.

Try doing start>run "C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" - s0.0.0.0:9000
and connecting to http://localhost:9000/sabnzbd/

Does not work, it still keeps reverting back to port 8080

I found it. Somehow my .ini file got corrupted. I deleted it and reconfigured SABnzb and it now works again.
