Files unpacking twice

I've just had this bug occur for the second time:  files are *sometimes* being unpacked twice, with the second folder being given a suffix of ".1".

Just now I had two items in the queue, a TV special and an album; the bug only occurred with the TV special.  I'm sure I'm not doing anything differently compared to when things only unpack once.

I'm using SABnzbd+ 0.4.6, Windows Vista (home premium, sp1), and Firefox 3.

I hope reporting this is useful.  :)

We need more information to say anything about this.
Log-files, NZB file. Email them to [email protected].

Is the file size the same? Was it named filename.1.avi or filename.avi.1?

Could be just a sample file which some uploaders like to stupidly name the same as the final file.

Thanks for the replies.

The folders are the same size with the same contents:  Folder and Folder.1 both containing the same video, sample, nfo, and so on.

I've checked the history and it turns out the duplicated items were actually *downloaded* twice, not just unpacked twice.  I'm definitely only saving one NZB.

I'll email my history. :)

Do you have the nzbdstatus firefox plugin? It will automatically add any nzb downloaded to any folder into sabnzbd. If you have this installed and are saving it to the blackhole/watched folder it will be added twice (once by nzbdstatus, once by sabnzbd)

If so, either save to a different folder, or turn off the option in nzbdstatus (it is called "Send nzb files to this daemon")

I do have that (sorry, forgot to mention it!), but wouldn't it be adding it twice every time rather than just two seemingly random times?

I've turned off the option and I'll see if that prevents it from happening again.

Thanks. :)
