I'm all horked up - and a unix n00b
1) I can't change the post processing scripts folder but I can make other changes to the config (ex. notification section).

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ ls -l /var/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini
-rw------- 1 sabnzbd sabnzbd 3767 Jan 13 10:37 /var/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ ls -l /usr/local/sickbeard
total 112
drwxrwxr-x 2 sickbeard nzb 4096 Jan 13 07:31 autoProcessTV

.

2) separate but perhaps related I can't point the folders section to anything I've mounted via cifs

Any help would be appreciated

As soon as you ask for help, you figure it out.
All is good and working (so far).
