SABnzbd Forums

Hello,
I've been using sabnzbd and the ubuntu repository for years now. Just did a complete new install of Ubuntu 14.10 and went to install sabnzbd via apt.

Anytime I start the service or program and load an nzb, it'll start downloading then crash the entire computer.

I tried purging the package and reinstalling a few times. I tried using Ubuntu Software Center to install the package.

As soon as it finishes the first download, computer restarts.

This is much more likely to be something at system level than a sab problem. Think hardware (memory, hd, overheating?) or driver issues (network, raid?). Check the system logs for signs of those, if you find nothing run memtest86 (from grub or an install medium/live cd).
