Out of no where my sabnzbd has stopped working. It worked a week ago, now everything just sits in waiting status.
I am using news.tweaknews.eu ; I am paid up for another 3 months. User name and Pass are matching. Correct port listed (443[SSL])
When I test server I get the 502 Authentication Failed message.
Again, It was working the last few weeks and now nothing. the only change was updating to 0.7.20 a day or so ago, but it wasn't working before that. I was hoping that was the fix. No go!
What am I missing here for it all to just stop and having all downloads say waiting???
any help would be GREAT!

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Go back to the previous version to know for sure whether it's SABnzbd or your Usenet provider.
You can install any 0.7.x version over a new one.

It wasn't working when I installed the new version. I hoped the new version was the fix. I will try to go back but if it wasn't working before the upgrade, would going back fix anything?

So it was a password issue.
Even though MY password met all the criteria for both news.tweaknews.eu servers and sabnzbd, it wasn't working. I checked to make sure I had typed it correctly on both and that they both matched, no go!
Solved the issue by using "lost password". received a generated password from tweak news. Copy/Paste. Done! and Works!
Weirdest crap I have ever seen, especially considering the password was work perviously with no issues, and works again now after resetting it back to MINE.

Did anyone ever find out the cause of this?
I am having similar issue. I went to my usenetserver and changed my password. Then in sabnzbd server config my connection tested fine.
I deleted the downloads I had queued that weren't going anyway.
I started a download and it stalled out.
I went back to server config and my connection now fails due to Authentication.
Any ideas?

Often browsers supply login data (or something like LastPass does).
They don't know that you changed the password at the provider
and will happily re-apply the old password in SABnzbd's server page.
