would it be possible to have maybe a tick box so that multiple files can be seleted for deletion as i maintain a large queue and removing a few files can take 10-30 mins.

I need this feature too.... please.

And if someone should implement this, please add the button/command "Invert selection"(like on binsearch.info)... just in caseĀ

Is this the list of download jobs or the list of files belonging to a download job?

I would say both, the ability to do select all, select none would be handy too.

Agree.
The way newzbin does it, with range and invert, is pretty handy.

I also love newzbin's setup and would like multi-delete at some point. But, I only rarely delete stuff though (like if I forget to change my download location on a new install).

That's true; but delete is not the only action.
Say you can mark a number of entries, and then choose actions from a dropdown-box, such as "delete", "move to top", "move to bottom".
That'd be handy.
