You can add nzb file from http sources but why not an nntp source?
nzb files get posted to news groups so why not allow them as a nzb file source?
something along the line: nntp:///<[email protected]>

I suspect that this shouldn't be too difficult as sab already fetches news articles, referenced by the above identifier in the nzb files themselves.

would this be possible?

How do you actually find those?
With an indexer?
SABnzbd already supports NZB files that download NZB files.
