I am new to sabnzbd after dumping Grabit. I have a lot of reading to do but someone set me straight on the whole missing files/takedown situation. Seems like if I pull down a NZB more than a couple days old, I'll never get the whole thing. I have multiple usenet servers and that used to make a difference but not recently.
Is there a way to determine how successful I will be prior to downloading? I hate to pull down 10 GB only to find out 2 blocks are missing.
Will the files ever be reposted or should I just give up?
Also, when I get files missing message, I can see the file. If it's not the data that I need, what is it?
Any advice is appreciated.

Re: Advice for successful downloads please
Didn't you experience the same problems with Grabit?
The likely cause are DMCA take-downs.
If in doubt, re-download a failing NZB with Grabit.
