I have upped my cache with no change and then started measuring my connections. I thought I had it solved and my download speed jumps up to 3-4 MB/s when I change the connection value and save the setting. Unfortunately, it then slowly returns to about 1.3MB/s within a few minutes. The speed temporarily increases when I increase or decrease the connection value and click save. My internet connection and various speed tests are well beyond 100Mbps (12.5MB/s)

I have searched the forums and Wiki but I can't find a similar situation occurring... Any suggestions or links to similar issues would be appreciated, thanks.

How many connections do you use in total?
What happens if you set it to 8 or lower?
How much cpu does Sab use during downloading?

8GB ram. I have 20 connections available on my main server at priority 0. I have tried 5, 6, 10, 17 and 20 connections, all with the same result. Starts out fast at around 3.5MB/s then slows to 1.3MB/s after a few minutes.

Are you able to switch versions?
What happens when you switch back to SAB 1.0.3? Can be downloaded here: https://sabnzbd.org/download-stats
This is to exclude a change in SAB we made from 1.0.3 to 1.1.0.

I haven't had an opportunity to roll back and test it, but I do know that my download speed has ALWAYS (for years) been averaging 1.3MB/s. I have changed ISPs over the years but always had the same average speed. I keep SABnzbd up to date and would've used 1.0.3 at the time of release.
