Background
You're using a reseller of Highwinds which hasn't set the SSL/TSL keys correct (so: problem on their side), and you've set SABnzbd certificate checking to Strict (good!). See more details on https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/certi ... rrors.html
Possible trick / workaround ... on which I would like to receive feedback.
If you have an account at Usenet provider "supernewsprovider.com" with username 'john' and pasword 'mysecret123' (and you get the sslusenet.com error message), try this setup in SABnzbd:
newsserver: news.sslusenet.com
username: [email protected]
password: mysecret123
... and try again. If it works: great! Set the certificate checking (under Advanced) to Strict, and try again (it should work).
Please give feedback on this: does it work?
