I am running with ubuntu 16.04.2
I am trying to set the speed limit. Google Speedtest tells me that my maximum download speed is between 8.7 and 10.5 mbps. From what I can gather that means that I should put something like 2 into the maximum speed. My sabnzbd speed is set at 100% (in main screen next to "Sabnzb"). My If I do that, however, my download speed goes down to something like 530Kb/s On the other hand, if I put 100 into the speed my download goes up to 1.5MB (the 530 and 1.5 are what sabnzbd says). So, obviously, this is making no sense to me. This gets to be a problem when I am setting percentages.
Sabnzbd is working just fine but it would be nice if, in the setting of the max speed, the drop down had stuff like Mbps, MB, Mb, etc. (which would fix any confusion). Might even be better if you put a speed test into the program itself too (I suspect that you only have to download about 400k to get results).
Thank you..............
MiB, MB, Mb, Mbps ?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
Re: MiB, MB, Mb, Mbps ?
MiB, MB, Mb, Mbps ... confusing indeed.
Rule of thumb:
- software guys do things in Bytes. SAB is software, so measures in Bytes.
- network guys do things in bits. So your ISP will tell bits or bps.

Which would also more parameters, and thus more confusion.Sabnzbd is working just fine but it would be nice if, in the setting of the max speed, the drop down had stuff like Mbps, MB, Mb, etc. (which would fix any confusion)
Assuming that you mean "8.7 and 10.5 Mbps." (so: Megabit, not millibit ... you see, you're confusing me already), that is around 1 - 1.2 MB/s (divide by 8.5). You could set that in SABnzbd.8.7 and 10.5 mbps.
