hi all, does anyone know why sabnzbd 2.2.0Beta1 reports such an old version of Python? [2.7.13 (v2.7.13:a06454b1afa1, Dec 17 2016, 20:53:40)]

It is more than a little concerning.

Because that is when the last Python 2 was released:

Switching to Python 3 would require a major re-write of the code, almost having to start from scratch.
There will be another Python 2 maintenance release in August/September.

Ok, fair enough. As an end-user it can be scary to see that :S
