My downloads aren't running and when I do a 'TEST SERVER' I get the following message, not sure what it means ?

If so, that server is TLS-correct according to https://www.appelboor.com/cgi-bin/check ... traweb.com

What do you get if you let SABnzbd Test Server thes SSL/TLS servers:

Do you have firewall on your Win10? A virus scanner?

I've been using SABnzbd for a couple of years now and it's only just started doing it a couple of days ago.

I have Avast installed for antivirus scanning, I also run Malwarebytes now and then.

Same message for all the other servers.

It wouldn't be as silly as the password being wrong ? Would that be a different error ?
I use the same account/password as the astraweb signon.

No, it is a network/system problem, not an account problem. Proof: you get the error for all newsservers
My guess / the usual suspect: the firewall and/or virusscanner on your Win10 system. Both can block/intercept/alter the traffic.

Things to try:

1) In your Astraweb server settings in SABnzbd, what if you set "Certificate verification" to Disabled? (That is option is only available if Advanced Setting in the upper right corner is checked) ... Can you then make a connection? If so, your connection is not safe, so this is NOT a solution.

2) What if you use plain NNTP on port 119 (so no SSL/TLS selected)?

I disabled the Certificate verification and get the same error.

When I use no SSL on port 119 I get this error

So Avast is the cause of the problem.

First try: reboot your Win10 and try again.

If that does not work: Can you de-install Avast temporarily, reboot Windows 10, and try again?

I've rebooted my computer and it also updated the Avast Driver updater.

I've reset it to SSL port 563 and I now get this, which I think is the password ?

502 Authentication Failed

That's better: no SSL error. But the newsserver says your username/password is not correct.
