Folder Issue since upgrading to 3.4.1

Posted this issue initially in General Help, topic “TV folder ONLY by Show and Season”
Since the update to 3.4.1, my downloads of multiple episodes of the same season of a show result in separate folders for each episode. Previously (3.3.1), I would have a parent folder, e.g. “Season 1”, with each episode downloaded within this folder, with no subfolders.
I tested this on a second machine – Windows 10. With 3.3.1, I got the desired results. As soon as I updated to 3.4.1, I rebooted (just to be sure), and re-ran the same 2 .nzb files. This resulted in the unwanted result of each episode being in a separate folder. NO OTHER CONFIGURATION CHANGES WERE MADE.
I checked the settings on my first PC running 3.3.1, against the test machine with 3.4.1, and there are no config. differences. Downgrading to 3.3.1 on both machines has solved my problem.
Have screenshots, but don't know how to attach them...

Can you share your TV sorting string?
And maybe the filenames of the downloads you are trying, so I can reproduce.

Sort String:
%sn/Season %s/%sn - S%0sE%0e - %en.%ext
Shows:
Dr.Death.The.Undoctored.Story.S01E01.720p.WEB.h264-KOGi
Dr.Death.The.Undoctored.Story.S01E02.720p.WEB.h264-KOGi
Dr.Death.The.Undoctored.Story.S01E03.720p.WEB.h264-KOGi
However, I’ve tried it on numerous shows with the same results. Exact same sort string in both 3.3.1 and 3.4.1

@silverthunderbird
I tried with your settings and I get the results I would expect.
So can you share what paths you get and what paths you would have expected?

That's odd, as mentioned, it happened on 2 separate machines. Here's 2 screen captures. I reinstalled 3.4.1 on my laptop, and left my desktop reinstalled with 3.3.1. It's important to note that I've tried both versions on both machines, with the same two results.
Uploaded pics to my GDrive.

Just to add...
With 3.4.1, using the .nzb files I referenced, a folder within the destination folder is created when the download begins, named
“_UNPACK_Dr.Death.The.Undoctored.Story.S01E01.720p.WEB.h264-KOGi”
When the download completes, the folder is renamed by SABnzbd to
“Dr.Death.The.Undoctored.Story.S01E01.720p.WEB.h264-KOGi”
The only difference being that “_UNPACK_” prefix has been removed.
With 3.3.1, when the download starts, a folder within the destination folder, named “Dr Death the Undoctored Story” is created containing a subfolder for each season. ALL the episodes are within this subfolder. Nothing is renamed.

I'm having the same issue. updated to 3.4.1 and didn't change any settings. Since updating all TV shows are dropped into the SABNZBD Complete folder as individual folders named after the episode file. There's no sorting going on any more.
My sort string is %sn/Season %s/%sn - S%0sE%0e - %en.%ext
What I'm getting is: SABNZBD\SABNZBD Complete\Showname S01E04 Episode 4 1080p x265-DRM1 mkv-xpost
When what I want is: SABNZBD\SABNZBD Complete\Showname\Season 1\

For me it works with your settings and your download:
For both of you:
Could you update to 3.4.2RC1, enable Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and then run the download again?
And then share the
whole log-file that you get when you click Show Logging?
The log is anonymized, so you can safely share it through pastebin.

Signed up for a Pastebin account. Re-downloaded the .nzbs and collected the .log file.
"You have exceeded the maximum paste size of 512 kilobytes per paste. PRO users don't have this limit!".
So let me know if you want me to email the .log file to
[email protected].

Hi folks, I have the same issue also.
Do you have enough log files now?

Yes, the problem is that in Config Sorting you have to select the Affected categories on the left. It won't just run on all jobs anymore, you have to select one or even all of your categories.
