Sabnzbd 3.4.2 Ubuntu 20.04 keeps stopping and restarting

I have been a long user of SABnzbd and have had no problems since. In this version 3.42, it seems that the old interface has gone and a new look is here - nevermind.
System: Ubuntu 20.04, SabNZBD 3.4.2
I upgraded SABnzbd using the repo for Ubuntu 20.04. the following problems and states were noticed:
- SABnzbd keeps loosing connection, stopping and restarting. This happens periodically and I cannot stop it
- looking a ps aux, I get this line "/usr/bin/python3 -OO /usr/bin/sabnzbdplus --browser 1"
Anyone can help in resolving this issue?
