Hi,

New the form so thank you in advance for the assistance. Sabnzbd has been running flawlessly for years. Today, I feel like a suspect file was downloaded (clicked the wrong nzb and walked away). Noticed it was the wrong file when I came back and just deleted it.

Tried to download the correct one, as well as many others for testing purposes and keep getting fails on downloads - ("Error pop from empty list while running par2"). What is interesting to note is I even tried to download an nzb that was 49 minutes old and it said missing articles.

I am not sure what part of the log files to include here but I know that helps. Anyone able to assist in telling me how to do that?

In SABnzbd's upper right corner, click on the wrench symbol ("Status and interface options"), then click on first tab Status, and there click on "Test download" 1GB ... what is the result?

When it was downloading, there were 82MB of missing articles. Then it failed after trying to repair.

And no error message (like in the subject)?

Well, that is very bad news about your setup: that 1GB download is a reference download. It will never get DMCA'd. So if you can't download that, your setup (local plus newsserver) is in a very bad state.

EDIT maybe start with
* full virusscan (if on Windows)
* uninstall and install of SABnzbd

I am on a Mac, ran a virus scan and no results. I will go with a reinstall of SAB

I reinstalled SABnzbd and the problem still persists.

What's /Volumes/Seagate Box/ ?

To rule out disk problems, I would start by setting Temporary Download Folder and Completed Download Folder (so Incomplete and Complete) to your built-in disk, and try a the 1GB test download again.

That is an external hard drive plugged in via USB to my Mac running SAB.

I pointed the download folders to my local Mac HD. Download failed again.

Do you have the feature on Unwanted extensions or Encrypted downloads? If so, can you turn it off?

Which version of SABnzbd, on which CPU type (Intel or M1)?

Which usenet server are you using (specific address and port)? It could be a Supernews problem. Try getting the free 25 GB from xsusenet.com and add it as a secondary server. I would also run a memcheck program, if there is such a thing for Mac.

No unwanted extensions in the SAB configuration (I am assuming you mean things like .bat, .exe etc).
No encrypted downloads and the config is set to pause for "Action when encrypted RAR is downloaded".

SABnzbd version: 3.4.2
Mac M1 chip

Used the Mac Disk Utility feature and no errors detected with memory.
