I have been using the system for a few weeks without any issues and randomly last night I started getting this error. "download_dir directory: /volume1/Downloads/Incomplete error accessing" and also " Failure in tempfile.mkstemp"
I have made sure the access is set properly, I am not sure which user it is so I have given every user write /read access for now. There is plenty of space on the HD. Not sure what else to check. I am running it on my synology NAS

Re: Disk error on creating file - DSM
I have solved the issue but not sure why. Since I was pretty confident it was not a permission issue I created new folders in the same parent folder and chose them and the issue was resolved. Since the permissions are set on the parent directory and not the individual folders I am not sure why it now works
