Need help install SABYenc 5.x on QNAP ???

Post by AJNinGA »

Recently updated to 3.6

Now nothing downloads since SABYenc is not included in update.

Tried to get Python3 running in SSH but cant seem to load the interpreter.

Does the sherpa mini-package include the SABYenc install?

Hi and welcome to the forum. :)

Yes, sherpa will upgrade the 'sabyenc3' package automatically, but only if you're using the SABnzbd QPKG installed via sherpa.

Please run this to upgrade:

Code: Select all

sherpa reset; sherpa check
If you're using Stephane's QSAB package, he'll need to update it to include the newer 'sabyenc3' version.
Stuff I like: Apache bash cron DD-WRT Debian DNSMasq Entware FireFox GitHub ImageMagick Kate KDE LibreELEC Netrunner NFS NVIDIA OpenVPN Orvibo-S20 pfSense Python Raspberry-Pi RAID SABnzbd Transmission Usenet VirtualBox Watcher3 XFCE

I posted how I fixed it (Stephane's version) on another thread in the Bug Reports forum "Can't download on QNAP after update to 3.6.0: SABYenc disabled: no correct version found! Found v4.0.2, expecting v5.4." (I can't link directly as a new user)
