I have some files which sabnzb seems to refuse to join. Like:
file.wmv.000
file.wmv.001
etc.
file.wmv.par2
file.wmv.vol000+01.par2

Is it correct sabnzbd will NOT combine splitted (lxsplit/jsplit) files IF the NZB also contains PAR2 files?
With other words. Some PAR2 files will "repair" splitted files. But not all. In those cases sabnzbd should verify/repair and use the "join" function.
Advanced options "enable_filejoin" and "enable_tsjoin" are enabled. Or maybe i disabled some feature in the past.

It should join those. Could you share the NZB with me at [email protected]?

Ok, found the issue. For reasons i do not use the unpack feature of sabnzbd. (i use +Repair and custom post script).
"+Upack" also joins splitted files it seems. Expected only "unrar/unzip" actions, etc.
This term is somewhat confusing. Certainly if i see enabled "enable_tsjoin" checkboxes.

...but i have to think what my next steps wil be. A own category (and thus selecting default +Unpack) based on the nzb content is not possible?

Why do you need your own post-script to do the unrar/unzip?

i want to have the rar filename and the filename within the archive. And a pre-unrar hook is unavailable.

And what do you do with those filenames?
Mayhe SABnzbd can already do what you want, so just want to understand your use case.
