When downloading certain adult content videos there are a lot of left overs internet shortcut file types. I have to remove them manually by searching for: type: in windows explorer, then sorting by the same, then selecting all internet shortcut files, then delete.

Did you check /config/switches/#cleanup_list ?

"List of file extensions that should be deleted after download.
For example: nfo or nfo, sfv"

I did some checking and found that the internet shortcuts in question are file type (.url) which is also the extension but they do not show it even with the show extensions setting in explorer is turned on. I added (url) to the cleanup list and it works.
