Warning - giganews: Received unknown status code 503 for article ****

I'm having very similar issues.
It will download just fine, but then with very few megabytes remaining (1-10) it will stall and do nothing or download extremely slow, sometimes for several minutes, before finally finishing.
These lines from the log keeps popping up, but i don't know if they are relevant:
INFO::[notifier:142] Sending notification: Warning - giganews: Received unknown status code 503 for article ****
INFO::[nzbqueue:908] Resetting bad trylist for job *****
INFO::[newswrapper:413] giganews: Failed to close socket (error=EOF occurred in violation of protocol (_ssl.c:2406))
Issue seems to be related to Giganews. If i disable Giganews and only use Newshosting there are no issues. None of the loglines from above are present when only using Newshosting.
The issue started a few days ago, when i upgraded to the latest version 4.2.3
