50% failed extractions in Docker [Unraid]

Post by Sioux612 »

Hello,

For the last year or so I have been unable to use sabnzbd on my unraid server. Around 50% of all downloads, probably more, fail with "defective rar file".

The exact same downloads do not fail on my PC that is right next to the Server. Both instances were configured the same, only difference being one is in a Docker and one is a windows install. Neither has any modifications to it, windows probably hasn't even been updated in months while the broken unraid version has been updated and reinstalled several times.

No other service on the server has any issues.

Also not all downloads fail, just the majority.

Anybody got ideas where I can checking for issues?

Ah, yes: #UnraidAlert. Unraid and SABnzbd are not friends. A lot of problems, and I've never seen a solution.

In your SAB on docker on Unraid: where is your Incomplete dir? Put it inside the docker, not on the host.

That is interesting to hear and one more reason for me to eventually move to windows server once I have a complete mirror of my data running

I'm not super up to date with dockers and how they function, but I think I need to pull a different container since the one I have right now (binhex-sabnzbd) only gives me a single path I can modify.

Can you recommend a different one I should pull where I can modify the different paths individually?
