My Macbook Pro shows 191.76GB of space free.
sabnzbd shows 171.9GB of space free.
Why is there a difference in free space value in sabnzbd vs my mac?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Oh wow, completely forgot about that. My apologies. Here is the command line showing disk space.
