[0.5.0Beta1] Downloads added to top of queue

XP 32bit.

Had this both times I've used the new beta. First time I was adding Newzbin reports via sabnzbdplus and the queue order kept being mucked up. Second time I added report ID's through SAB and this worked okay, but I then upladed an NZB and it went to position 0.

Do you use any auto-sort settings?
(See Config->Switches).
Do you have priorities coupled to categories?

No automatic sorting, categories etc.
I'll do some more testing to see if I can ID exactly what goes wrong and if it can be consistently reproduced.

I don't know if this is the same problem that you are having, but I have categories with priorities set, when I put a NZB into a watched folder that is tied to a categories (priority high) the NZB comes up in the queue list fine, but with the default priority (normal as set from switches). I have some other categories set to low, but comes up as normal when sabnzbd imports it from the watch folder (I have the categories set up properly, been using the feature for a while now and love it :) only thing that I can't seem to figure out why the priority isn’t working for me.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you!

This is the same issues I was reporting in Beta 7 that you couldn't duplicate. and Im still having the issue.

All priorities are set to normal.
Age sorting is not enabled.

Nvm This seems fixed in Beta2, at least for me.

I solved a subtle error where the initial priority was stored
as a text string instead of a number.
This leads to very odd behaviour.

Beta2 is only available to release testers and should be available to public soon.

Wednesday, it will be available.
We always give the "Release Test" group a few days to check it out.
This is to prevent a serious problem from reaching a wider audience.

Hello :)
Just wondering, did you mean this Wednesday or next Wednesday? I am really eager for beta2.
I am loving beta1, can't wait to give beta2 a go :)

Actually tomorrow (Thursday) because we had to fix another error.
It's now called Beta3.

I had difficulty recreating the issue consistently enough, sometimes it'd happen at other times not. Wouldn't even necessarily be the top of the queue, sometimes added files would go to the middle. Will see how the next beta is.
One thing I definitely found was that if I'd add a load of report ID's the order would be mucked up until they were all acquired and then it would be correct.

The place of "Fetching" items has no meaning.
It's a separate queue, but just displayed among the real jobs.
Once the NZB file is in, the priority gets set correctly (because it might not be known yet).

First, I like to say, good job with Sabnzbd been using it for years and I am completely happy with it! :) I really don't want to be a prick to you guys, since I know you have higher priority with compiling the next build of sabnzbd.
I still have that priority problem with sabnzbd using categories. any item imported ignores the priority I set it and takes the default priority setting from the "switches" setting. Is there a temp fix I can do in the meantime to solve the solution?

The system I am using in-case this might help is Windows Server 2008 (32bit), for Beta3 I completely unistalled and did not use my old ini file, I completely re-entered all the settings from scratch in-case my previous ini file was the problem.

Edit: I forgot to mention, when I say import a NZB to the category, I am placing the NZB file in the sub-folder of the watch folder. example, when I place blabla.nzb into the "Movies" (absolute location is like G:\Watched Folder\Movies) folder it gets put in the queue as "Movies" Category, but the priority setting is wrong when it gets imported.
