When Unraring - 0.5.0 Ubuntu/Firefox - goes into loop

Version: (Ex: 0.5.0)
OS: Ubuntu Karmic
Install-type: linux repository
Skin (if applicable): plush
Firewall Software: Smoothwall
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? yes

When there are subs.rar files in the download, it seems that the unraring process goes into a loop that, if allowed to continue, will fill up the hard drive. It happens continuously but only with downloads that contain subs.rar files.

Here is a pic of the folder - the loop goes on and on until the files fill the hard drive. The only way to stop it is to change the folder name by removing part of the name like "UNPACK".

Are you using the +U or the +D option?

From the changelog of the coming 0.5.1 release:
- Fixed problems that could lead to an infinite unpacking loop
(when using a "sick" NZB and using +U instead of +D postprocessing)

I am using the +U option. I'll change to the +D and check it with the next download containing subs.....
Thank you for responding so quickly.

I'd just like to point out this is the same issue I'm having:

Glad to hear a fix is on the way.

I changed to +D option and it stopped the looping of subs.rar files. I was using the +U option because sometimes the unraring didn't work right and I wanted to preserve the rar/par files until I checked the downloads. I guess I can do without that for now.

Thanks for the heads up.....
