Job Status Is Completed Even If Repair or Unpack Fails

Hi,

I have been using SABnzbd for a while now and I am convinced that this is a bug.

Whenever a job fails to be repaired (e.g. not enough blocks) and consequently fails to be extracted (I usually get a CRC error), the status of the job is set to "Completed". I really think that this should be set to "Failed" so it is easier to see when a job has failed plus it will send an e-mail when this is the case.

Thanks,
Jas

First you must have set the option "Process Only Verified Jobs" off,
otherwise failed jobs will not be unpacked.
Next is a bug in SABnzbd that loses the unpack error message somewhere.
This will be fixed in the next 0.5.x release.

Thanks for the reply.

It is already fixed in the latest RC or shall I wait for the next stable release?

It's still not fixed in RC2, although it's supposed to be resolved in the final release.

Nobody said it's fixed in 0.5.1RC2
